This is a good opportunity for qualified instructors of these two forms to update their practice standards and fulfill the biennial revalidation required for their teaching qualification. Health Qigong Instructors of these two forms who are not due for revalidation but would like to consolidate their practice and further enhance their understanding of the forms are welcome to attend. 

The weekend seminars are also open to experienced practitioners of these Health Qigong forms looking to expand their knowledge and explore the physical and mental health benefits these two forms offer.

Health Qigong Ming Mu gong

This is an excellent set of Qigong exercises that combines the Traditional Five Wheels theory and TCM theory for better health maintenance for the eyes, body, and mind, exercises designed to strengthen eye muscles, improve joint mobility and qi flow in the eyes and organs, boost organs functions and increase body balance and immunity. Thus, enhances body metabolism to bring mental and physical wellness. it is great for improving eyesight and general health of the mind.
 
Based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it concentrates on the Zang Fu organs comprising the heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, gall bladder, stomach, small and large intestine and bladder. It works the meridians, balancing yin and yang, the Five Elements, Qi and blood. The meditative type of movements are effective for promoting good health, cultivating the spirit, and prolonging life expectancy.

 

Health Qigong Seated 12 Duan Jin

Health Qigong 12 Duan Jin, a seated exercise, is one of the 9 sets of Health Qigong exercises endorsed by the International Health Qigong Federation. This set of exercises is based on traditional Qigong theory, Chinese Medicine principles, and modern sports science methods.

Each move has been designed to work with different Meridian and channels to stimulate energy flow along the channels and meridians. In turn, it helps boost energy flow in the body and enhances the functions of internal organs in the body.

Graceful and therapeutic movements help improve mental wellness, muscle tones, bone structure, and strengthen the overall body stamina and flexibility.

Health Qigong 12 Duan Jin is a great exercise to improve overall mental and physical fitness and wellbeing.

This is an exercise suitable for enthusiasts of all ages, all physical fitness, and all standards. Beginners, Intermediate, and advanced level practitioners are all welcome.

 
Both exercises are great for helping to treat and improve various common illnesses such as:
  • Arthritis, osteoporosis, and weakening joints
  • Angina and high blood pressure
  • Diabetes 
  • Anxiety, depression, and stress

This weekend seminar is suitable for Qualified BHQA instructors. As the teaching is to be conducted via Zoom virtually, whether you are somewhere in the UK, another country in Europe, or around the world, you can enjoy this great learning experience with world-class teachers and attain good health and well-being in the comfort of your own homes. No Qigong experience is needed to attend the weekend training.
